the dining room & garden This converted carriage house offers country charm mixed with a touch of refinement. Stay cozy next to the fire place during the cooler months or enjoy a lovely breeze during the Summer on our shaded patio. Enjoy a cup of tea in our backyard herb garden while you unwind after a day of shopping in the county. The scent of lavender, mint and other fragrances will relax you as our chefs harvest herbs and vegetables for daily service. View art work provided by local galleries and artists. Exhibits change frequently as we are happy to support and promote the local art community. Due to the size of our restaurant, staff and seasonality of The County, we recommend that reservations are made. The main floor of our dining room seats up to 24 people. Maximum table size of 8 guests. The Mezzanine offers a more private dining experience and can accommodate parties of up to 14 people. Set menus are required and can be decided upon consultation with the chef. A new addition in 2008, private dining is available in our newly renovated red room.  Seating is available for private parties of up to 14.  An ideal space to enjoy a suckling pig roast party.    A $200 credit card deposit is required on all parties of 8 guests or more. (upon cancellation deposit is refundable in full up to 1 week in advance of reservation date) A 15% gratuity will be automatically added to parties of 6 guests or more. Please refrain from cell phone use in the dining room.
